Andy Lapthorne is a member of the Tennis Foundation’s Wheelchair Tennis Performance Programme and is a medal hopeful for the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Andy took up the sport in 2005 after being asked to try it out at a wheelchair sports camp. His natural talent for the game was quickly spotted by coaches from the Tennis Foundation and he was selected to begin training at a more elite level.
In 2012 Andy alongside Peter Norfolk won the Double Quad Australian Open!
Andy is currently looking for sponsors to assist him in his tennis ambitions. If you are interested in your business being associated with a World Class athlete please contact Sprint Management at info@sprint.gb.com.
